li·brar·y
noun /ˈlīˌbrerē/ /-brərē/
libraries, plural
“A building or room containing collections of books, periodicals, and sometimes films and recorded music for people to read, borrow, or refer to.”
The Magickal Librarian is like your local public librarian; helpful and informative. This blog was created as a place to learn about books that have to do with paganism, theology, philosophy, mythology, and magic. Books will be posted with their publisher’s information as well as book reviews, ratings and categories. Also, later it will include links to sites where you can buy, trade, borrow and/or read directly the book featured. For Example: Barnes&Noble, Amazon, GoodReads, and the New York Public Library.
Hopefully, some time in the not so distant future there will be features that include authors and publishers. Also, maybe even an attached forum for discussions and reading groups.
But ultimately it’s all about the books, whether they be bound, rolled parchment, or on someone’s e-reader, published, or not. The goal is to promote reading and the increase of knowledge in these topics.
